Wilton® Brute Force™ bridge C-clamps are designed for heavy construction and fabrication, featuring a drop forged frame with a black oxide coating. The clamps offer clamping pressure of up to 40,000 lbs, making them suitable for demanding industrial applications such as shipbuilding. Each clamp is equipped with full-length spindles that are machined from a single piece of square, cold drawn steel that is tempered and hardened for durability. The square spindle heads are engineered to withstand heavy wrench tightening, while the hot upset square head on the spindle can handle higher torque. Additionally, the square-head spindle features a large diameter rolled thread and hardened point, which enhance smooth operation and strength. The black oxide coated spindle provides resistance to corrosion, ensuring longevity in harsh environments.
