Wilton® Brute Force™ bridge C-clamps are designed for heavy construction and fabrication, featuring a drop forged frame and a black oxide coating. These clamps provide clamping pressure up to 40,000 lbs, with full-length spindles machined from a single piece of square, cold drawn steel that is tempered and hardened for durability. The square spindle heads are engineered to withstand heavy wrench tightening, and the extra heavy-duty models are specifically built to meet the demands of industrial applications, such as shipbuilding. The hot upset square head on the spindle allows for greater torque, while the large diameter rolled thread and hardened point on the square-head spindle ensure smoother operation and added strength. Additionally, the black oxide coated spindle offers resistance to corrosion.
