The kit includes heat shrink insulation that is adhesive-lined to waterproof and environmentally seal electrical connections when crimped and heated. It effectively insulates and protects connections from wire pullout, moisture intrusion, and abrasion. The heat-activated adhesive melts and flows to create a secure seal, while also resisting salt water, oil, gasoline, and other environmental contaminants. This product is rated for a maximum of 600 volts and has a temperature rating of 221 °F (105 °C).
