The WireGard® kit includes a yellow #84 small jar containing 100 pieces, designed for superior quality and durability. It features a high-leverage, easy-on wing-type design with knurled wings for a secure grip, offset from the centerline to provide greater twisting leverage. The square-wire plated spring quickly adjusts to fit the shape and size of the splice. Additionally, the kit boasts flame-retardant properties that resist heat distortion up to 105 °C (221 °F). The high-dielectric shell is designed with a deep skirt to prevent exposure of bare wire and allows for copper-to-copper connections only.
