It features color-coded options for easy size selection and a tight, square-wire spring that ensures quick and secure connections for positive continuity. The connectors are housed in a tough thermoplastic shell, which shields against environmental extremes and resists chemical action from hydrocarbons, diluted acids, or alkaline solutions. With flame-retardant properties, they can withstand heat distortion up to 105 °C (221 °F). Additionally, the high-dielectric shell includes a deep skirt design to prevent exposure of bare wire, and the connectors are suitable for copper-to-copper connections only.
