The 4-lamp 32W T8 high efficiency instant start electronic ballast features universal voltage compatibility (120-277V) and a normal ballast factor, offering over 90% efficiency in its operation. This NEMA premium ballast (NPB) program compliant unit ensures over 100 LPW (lumens/watt) performance when used with Octron Supersaver® lamps, making it one of the lowest power T8 instant start systems available. The compact can enclosure size allows for easy installation, and it provides 30-50% energy savings. It has minimum starting temperatures of -20°F (-29°C) for standard T8 lamps, 60°F (16°C) for energy saving T8 lamps, and 0°F (-18°C) for FO40T8 lamps. The ballast operates with a total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 10%, effectively eliminating lamp flicker.
