The kit is designed for cable insulation, marking, and bundling, providing superior mechanical, abrasion, and moisture protection. It features flame retardant properties and resistance to common fluids and solvents. The product complies with multiple industry standards, including UL 224 at 125 C, CSA C22.2 No. 198.1 at 125 C, MIL-DTL-23053/5 for Class 1 & 2, AMS 3636 & 3637, and DEF STAN 59-79, Issue 3 Type 2A. It offers a continuous operating temperature range of -55 C (-67 F) to 135 C (275 F) and a shrink temperature range of 120 C (250 F) to 250 C (480 F). The dielectric strength is rated at 600 V/mil, and the kit features a 2:1 shrink ratio.
