Blickman base cabinets are constructed from stainless steel, type 300 series, nickel-bearing, featuring double-walled solid doors for enhanced strength and sound deadening. The gauges used in the construction include 18 gauge for the sides, bottom, rabbets, outer door pans, top railing, and shelves, while the recessed base is 16 gauge, and the drawers, back panels, and inner door panels are made of 20 gauge. Each cabinet is built as a complete and separate unit, ensuring rigidity and stability independent of adjacent components. The cabinets feature double-walled drawers and doors that close flush with the cabinet face for a neat appearance, and the bottom is designed with a channel-shaped base. Leveling bolts are welded into the corners and accessible through button-covered holes in the cabinet bottoms, with the base omitted for installations on masonry bases, allowing for a toe space of approximately 3" x 4" high. The doors are equipped with semi-concealed stainless steel hinges, die-cast aluminum bar pulls, and spring-activated nylon roller catches. The drawer bodies are one-piece constructions with coved corners, and they operate on ball bearing roller slides with full extension. The shelves are adjustable on 1/2" centers and are fabricated with channel-shaped and flanged edges on all four sides.
