The Shepherd® Bassick® Prism stainless steel swivel caster features a durable design with a 4" diameter and is constructed from polished 304 stainless steel. It includes Eagle urethane wheels and a high-temp swivel seal as standard. The legs are fully welded to both the inside and outside of the ball cup to ensure a robust connection, while the grease zerk on both the wheel bearing and swivel raceway assists in prolonging caster life. A 5/8" nut/bolt kingpin enhances durability, making it ideal for transporting uneven loads. This caster is particularly suitable for applications that require frequent washdowns, as well as environments exposed to cleaning agents, steam, or caustic solutions. Typical applications include food service equipment, animal cages, pharmaceuticals, laundry trucks, hospital beds, and stock carts.
