The Shepherd® Bassick® Prism stainless steel swivel caster features a phenolic wheel with a diameter of 6 inches, constructed from polished 304 stainless steel. It is equipped with a high-temperature swivel seal as a standard feature. The caster's legs are fully welded to both the inside and outside of the ball cup to ensure a robust connection. To enhance longevity, a grease zerk is provided on both the wheel bearing and the swivel raceway. Additionally, a 5/8-inch nut/bolt kingpin adds extra durability, particularly beneficial when transporting uneven loads. This caster is ideal for environments requiring frequent washdowns or where cleaning agents, steam, or caustic solutions are used. Applications include food service equipment, animal cages, pharmaceuticals, laundry trucks, hospital beds, and stock carts.
