The Shepherd® Bassick® Prism stainless steel swivel caster features a thermal plastic rubber flat tread with an 8" diameter. Constructed from polished 304 stainless steel, this caster includes a high-temperature swivel seal as a standard feature. The legs are fully welded to the inside and outside of the ball cup, ensuring a durable and solid connection. Additionally, grease zerks are incorporated on both the wheel bearing and swivel raceway to extend the caster's lifespan. The 5/8" nut/bolt kingpin contributes to enhanced durability, especially when transporting uneven loads. This caster is ideally suited for applications requiring frequent washdowns or where cleaning agents, steam, or caustic solutions are employed, making it suitable for food service equipment, animal cages, pharmaceuticals, laundry trucks, hospital beds, and stock carts.
