The Shepherd® Bassick® Prism stainless steel rigid caster features a 4" diameter with a flat tread made from thermoplastic rubber. Constructed from polished 304 stainless steel, this caster includes a high-temperature swivel seal as standard, ensuring reliability in demanding environments. The legs are fully welded to both the inside and outside of the ball cup to guarantee a solid connection. To enhance caster longevity, a grease zerk is provided on both the wheel bearing and swivel raceway. The 5/8" nut/bolt kingpin contributes additional durability, making it suitable for transporting uneven loads. This caster is ideal for applications that require frequent washdowns or where cleaning agents, steam, or caustic solutions are utilized, and can be effectively applied to food service equipment, animal cages, pharmaceuticals, laundry trucks, hospital beds, and stock carts.
