The Shepherd® Bassick® Prism stainless steel rigid caster features a 5" diameter and is constructed from polished 304 stainless steel, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion. It includes Eagle urethane wheels, equipped with high-temperature swivel seals as standard. The legs are fully welded to both the inside and outside of the ball cup to provide a solid connection. Additionally, the caster is designed with grease zerk fittings on both the wheel bearing and swivel raceway to facilitate maintenance and extend caster life. A robust 5/8" nut/bolt kingpin adds extra durability, making it suitable for transporting uneven loads. This caster is ideal for use in environments that require frequent washdowns or exposure to cleaning agents, steam, or caustic solutions. It can be applied to various applications including food service equipment, animal cages, pharmaceuticals, laundry trucks, hospital beds, and stock carts.
