The Shepherd® Bassick® Prism stainless steel total lock swivel caster features a 4" diameter and is constructed from polished 304 stainless steel with thermal plastic rubber for the flat tread. It includes a high-temperature swivel seal as standard, and the legs are fully welded to the inside and outside of the ball cup to ensure a solid connection. Maintenance is facilitated by grease zerks on both the wheel bearing and swivel raceway, which help prolong the caster's lifespan. The caster is equipped with a 5/8" nut/bolt kingpin, providing additional durability for transporting uneven loads. It is particularly suitable for applications requiring frequent washdowns or the use of cleaning agents, steam, or caustic solutions. This caster can be applied to various settings, including food service equipment, animal cages, pharmaceuticals, laundry trucks, hospital beds, and stock carts.
