The Shepherd® Bassick® Prism stainless steel total lock swivel caster features a 5" diameter phenolic wheel constructed from polished 304 stainless steel, designed for high-temperature environments with a swivel seal standard. The legs are fully welded to both the inside and outside of the ball cup, ensuring a robust connection. Each caster is equipped with grease zerks on both the wheel bearing and swivel raceway, promoting prolonged caster life. A 5/8" nut/bolt kingpin enhances durability, making it particularly well-suited for transporting uneven loads. This caster is ideal for applications that require frequent washdowns or exposure to cleaning agents, steam, or caustic solutions, and is applicable in various settings including food service equipment, animal cages, pharmaceuticals, laundry trucks, hospital beds, and stock carts.
