The 4 Incandescent Housing for remodel construction is designed for recessed incandescent applications in 2x8 and 2x6 remodel settings. It is approved for direct burial in insulation and accommodates all ceiling and wiring types. The unit is UL listed to meet U.S. and Canadian safety standards. Constructed with L3R air-tight aluminum housing and a heavy-gauge galvanized steel raceway arm, it features remodel clips for installation in existing plaster, sheet rock, or mechanical ceilings. The galvanized steel junction box includes three built-in Romex® clamps and a ground wire, although it is not suitable for pulling wires. This housing is rated for 90°C and incorporates socket clips to trim, ensuring proper and consistent lamp positioning.
