Ox-Gard Anti-Oxidant Compound contains prime grade zinc and is formulated with metallic zinc to enhance electrical and thermal conductivity, making it ideal for use on high power crimp connections and stud bolt mountings. Upon tightening the connection, the grease is displaced, leaving a layer of zinc that fills surface imperfections at the interface, thereby improving both electrical and thermal conductivity. This results in reduced connection temperature under high power conditions by lowering voltage drop and providing a heat conductivity path to the substrate. The compound is manufactured with a unique grease compounded from custom refined low sulfur oil, ensuring brush-ability over a wide temperature range, tenacious adherence to all surfaces, resistance to water washout, and prevention of rust and corrosion.
