The Pizza Peel features an 18" x 29-1/2" blade with a full length of 36" and a 6-1/2" handle, constructed from wood. It is important to note that wood pizza peels should never be soaked in water; instead, they can be seasoned or sealed with a food-safe oil, such as mineral oil, to enhance durability. Sealing the peel helps reduce the likelihood of absorbing unwanted odors, food particles, and moisture, though it will not prolong the peel’s lifespan. Over time, peels will wear out, and in the event of warping, it is recommended to leave the peel overnight with the warped side facing up to allow it to flatten. Additionally, avoid placing the peel on hot surfaces to minimize the risk of warping.
