This post does not require an additional mounting bracket or adapter plate for mounting Mail Boss branded mailboxes, while its 4x4 bolt pattern is compatible with a variety of other mailboxes on the market. The sturdy curbside mailbox post should be installed approximately 12 inches into the ground using concrete and is engineered to support up to 250 lbs. evenly distributed.
