Product Details

The high-speed steel involute gear cutter features a 14-1/2° pressure angle and includes HSS TMX involute gear cutters with a 14.5° pressure angle, a diametral pitch of 32, and a cutter diameter of 2-1/4" with a hole diameter of 1". This cutter, designated as cutter #6, is suitable for cutting gears within the 17-20 range of teeth. A total of 8 cutters are necessary to create a complete set of spur gears, effective from 12 teeth to a rack.
