Satco compact fluorescent lamps utilize 75% less energy compared to incandescent bulbs, offering a longer lifespan, reduced heat production, and environmentally friendly attributes. This lamp is specifically designed for use in unshielded fixtures. It incorporates a pin CF lamp with an internal end-of-life mechanism, enabling the lamp to shut down automatically, which prevents abnormal end-of-life failure modes. Additionally, it is engineered for compatibility with high-frequency ballasts that lack their own lamp end-of-life sensing circuits.
