Metallic flexible hoses are designed to reduce pipe wall noise transmission, prevent pipe fatigue, simplify alignment problems, and reduce equipment flange stress. The hoses are constructed from annular corrugated 304 stainless steel tubing, which is covered by a tightly woven 304 stainless steel braid. The corrugations are closely pitched for maximum flexibility. The Type GN variant features carbon steel grooved fittings on each end, enhancing compatibility with various piping systems.
