The JBOS-5 benchtop spindle sander features a 1/2HP induction motor and a spacious 14-1/2" tilting table, designed for optimal performance in sanding tasks. It boasts a heavy-duty worm gear system that offers one-inch oscillating action, reducing friction heat to protect wood and extend sleeve life. The main spindle support operates on precision ball bearings, while the oscillation gears are housed in a sealed lubricated box, ensuring durability. The table can be tilted to 45° for bevel sanding projects, and a removable on/off safety switch enhances user safety by preventing accidental start-up. A built-in 2" dust port helps maintain a clean workspace by keeping dust and debris out of the air. The kit includes four table inserts (3/4" and 1" oblong, 3/4" and 1" round) to prevent debris from entering the motor while protecting the operator, along with five spindles and sanding sleeves. Additionally, built-in storage racks are provided for easy access to spindles and table inserts.
