The Tempco immersion heater is designed for use with tanks and features a power output of 1000W and operates at 120V, constructed from durable 304 stainless steel. This immersion heater is specifically designed to fit through a standard 2" bung opening in a 55-gallon drum, making it ideal for enhancing the flow of high viscosity solutions such as lard, tar, and oils. The heater has an 8" +/- 1/2" vertical riser that is heated, allowing for fluctuations in liquid levels without causing damage to the heater, as it is essential that the vertical heated portion, which extends 8" up from the bottom of the element, remains fully immersed. The unit includes adjustable stainless steel mounting brackets and is hardwired for convenience. This product is made in the USA and comes with warranty information.
