The Tempco immersion heater is designed for use with a standard 55-gallon drum, featuring a powerful 4000W heating element operating at 240V, constructed from durable steel. This immersion heater is particularly effective for enhancing the flow of high viscosity solutions such as lard, tar, and oils. The design includes an 8" +/- 1/2" vertical riser that is heated, allowing liquid levels to fluctuate without causing damage to the unit, provided that the vertical heated portion remains fully immersed. The kit includes adjustable stainless steel mounting brackets and is hard wired for convenience.
