The Series 550 coupling is designed with a 1/2" male NPT (industrial interchange 1/2") and features an easy-to-grip design that enables a low connection force. This coupling is smaller and more compact, generating higher flows compared to similar designs while producing an extremely low noise during disconnection. The vented safety version disconnects in two stages to vent the coupling and minimize the risk of sudden component separation, thereby reducing the potential for operator injury. Its unique balanced-valve design facilitates easy connection regardless of system pressure, making it particularly suitable for manifold applications with multiple connection points where low connection force is essential.
