The Series 550 coupling is designed with a 3/8" hose barb (industrial interchange 1/2") and features an easy-to-grip design that requires only a low connection force. This coupling is smaller and more compact, generating higher flows than comparable designs while maintaining an extremely low noise level upon disconnection. The vented safety version disconnects in two stages to vent the coupling and minimize the risk of sudden component separation, thereby reducing the potential for operator injury. Its unique balanced-valve design allows for easy connection regardless of system pressure, making it ideal for multiple connection points, such as manifold applications that require low connection force.
