The Series 550 nipple, designed for a 3/4" hose barb (Industrial Interchange 1/2"), features an easy-to-grip design that requires only a low connection force. These couplings are smaller and more compact, generating higher flows than comparable designs while producing extremely low noise upon disconnection. The Series 550 vented safety version disconnects in two stages to vent the coupling, minimizing the risk of sudden component separation that could potentially cause operator injury.
