The Series 550 coupling features a 3/8" female NPT (industrial interchange 1/2") design, characterized by its easy-to-grip construction that requires only a low connection force, making it suitable for a variety of applications. This coupling is smaller and more compact than comparable designs, generating higher flow rates while producing extremely low noise upon disconnection. The vented safety version is designed to disconnect in two stages to vent the coupling and minimize the risk of sudden component separation, thereby enhancing operator safety.
