The Vulcan hard hat chin straps come in a pack of 12 and are specifically designed to prevent hard hats from falling off or being dislodged due to high winds or awkward work positions, such as bending over. Each chin strap measures 3/4" wide and is made of durable, detachable, and dielectric 100% spandex, with plastic buckles and fasteners. According to OSHA regulations, employers are required to provide chin straps for protective helmets worn by employees working at elevated heights to safeguard workers below. These chin straps are compatible with Occunomix models V100, V200, VF100, and VF200, but they are not compatible with VCB100 or VCB200.
