The PCCS cooling pack replacement for PC1 includes a set of 2 packs designed to avoid downtime by keeping extra sets of PCP1 cooling packs charged and ready for replacement in PC1 PCCS Phase 1 vests. The PCP1 cooling packs, which are included with the PC1 vest and sold separately, maintain a temperature of 65 Fahrenheit (18 Celsius) and can be worn directly against the body without discomfort or the risk of frostbite, unlike ice and gel vests. Additionally, there are no tethers that could potentially break during critical operations, as seen in water and air cool vests. These cooling packs slip easily into PC1 vests and are rechargeable thousands of times. They are safe, non-toxic, and non-carcinogenic, with no harmful effects if accidentally ingested. The casings are ergonomically designed for comfort, flexibility, and portability, featuring virgin urethane seals that can withstand up to 8,500 PSI to prevent leakage.
