The trimming tool features a stainless steel edge designed for razor-straight trimming, ensuring dead-on accuracy as the blade slips along the steel. The low and flat edge minimizes wobbling during use. Constructed from tool steel, the edge has a thickness of .069 inches and a width of 1.25 inches. It is securely joined to the base and protrudes from the side of the ruler, allowing for efficient trimming.
