Valley Craft has enhanced their Roto-Grip™ & Roto-Lift™ drum handlers with the Power Drive feature, enabling safer and easier transport, lifting, and dumping of drums all in one piece of equipment. This powered drum handler incorporates Power-Drive wheels and a full-function hydraulic lift and pour, allowing operators to manage loads exceeding 1,000 lbs with reduced physical effort, thereby lowering injury rates by more than 50%. The unit boasts fully adjustable and programmable controls, with variable drive speeds set to a maximum of 2.5 mph and the capability to handle grades up to 5°. It is equipped with a keyed on/off switch, a Curtis TM-1 tiller head featuring an emergency reverse switch, electronic throttle, rocker switches, and a safety horn. The tiller head also includes a gas spring that automatically returns it to an upright position when not in use. The drum handler has 12" drive wheels with a safety cover and operates on a 24-volt DC system, with a battery indicator gauge. The package includes batteries and a 12V AC charger. The straddle model legs measure 23" long with a 25" spacing between each leg, while the maximum lift height from the center of the jaws to the floor is 82-1/2" for the 90" models and 70-1/2" for the 78" models. The maximum lift speed is 17 feet per minute, and the maximum rotation speed is 6 RPM.
