The Valley Craft® Power Drive Roto-Grip™ Straddle Legs is a robust drum handler designed for lifting and transporting drums safely and efficiently, with a maximum lift capacity of 1,000 lb and a maximum lift height of 70-1/2" for the 78" models. It features Power Drive wheels and a full-function hydraulic lift for easy drum movement, reducing operator effort and injury risk by over 50%. The unit includes a keyed on/off switch, variable drive speed with a factory-set maximum of 2-1/2 mph, and a Curtis TM-1 tiller head equipped with an emergency reverse switch, electronic throttle, and rocker switches. Additional safety features include a horn and a gas spring that returns the tiller head to an upright position when not in use. The drum handler is powered by a 24-volt DC system and includes a battery indicator gauge, with batteries and a 12V AC charger included. The straddle model legs measure 23" long and have a 25" spacing between each leg, allowing it to handle grades up to 5°. The maximum lift speed is 17 FPM, and the maximum rotate speed is 6 RPM.
