The WaterHog® fashion entrance mat is made from solution-dyed PET fabric derived from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic water bottles, with a rubber backing containing 20% recycled tire content. It features a raised water dam border made of the same 100% PET fiber system as the mat surface, designed to trap dirt and water to help keep floors and carpets clean. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, the mat is certified slip-resistant by the National Floor Safety Institute. The mat measures 4 feet by 10 feet, has a thickness of 3/8 inch, a 24 oz. per square yard absorption rate, and is constructed with a needle punched carpet pile on a surface of PET carpet and an SBR rubber base.
