The Buyers stainless steel underbody truck box, model 1702605, measures 18" x 18" x 36" and is constructed from 14-gauge stainless steel with a mil finish or powder-coated steel for the box, while the door is made of 14-gauge bright polished stainless steel. It features a recessed and beveled door design with replaceable doors and includes a rain channel and a 1/2" door gasket for moisture protection. The box is equipped with a die-cast locking T-handle compression latch, with two latches provided on the 48" and 60" sizes; it also has a stainless steel continuous hinge to guard against moisture and road dirt. Reinforced door backbone enhances door integrity and safeguards the latch mechanism, with no surface bolts or weld marks visible on the door. The door retainers use an "aircraft cable," allowing the door to open fully when the cable is removed.
