The Buyers steel underbody truck box model 1704710 in black measures 24" x 24" x 48" and is constructed from 14-gauge powder coated steel or 14-gauge stainless steel with a mill finish, featuring a bright polished stainless steel door. The door is recessed and beveled, designed to be replaceable, and includes a rain channel design with a 1/2" door gasket for weather resistance. It employs die-cast locking T-handle compression latches, with two latches on the 48" box, and a stainless steel continuous hinge that protects against moisture and road dirt. The reinforced door backbone enhances door integrity and protects the latch mechanism, while the door surface is clean of bolts or weld marks. It also includes "aircraft cable" door retainers that allow the door to open fully when the cable is removed.
