The Buyers Steel Underbody Truck Box, model 1702310, features a black powder-coated finish measuring 18x18x48 inches for corrosion resistance and is constructed from 14-gauge steel. It includes a recessed door with beveled edges to protect against moisture and road dirt, as well as a 1/2 inch thick gasket system. The door is equipped with a stainless steel continuous hidden hinge and reinforced door backbone to protect the latch mechanism. The locking system includes a stainless steel locking rotary paddle latch, a T-handle latch, or a die cast T-handle compression latch on an aluminum door, with aircraft cable door retainers for added security.
