The Buyers steel underbody truck box model 1702500 features a black 18x18x24 size constructed from 14-gauge steel with a powder-coated finish for corrosion resistance. It includes a diamond tread aluminum door with recessed and beveled edges to protect against moisture and road dirt. The box is sealed with a 1/2" thick gasket system and equipped with a stainless steel continuous hidden hinge, while the reinforced door backbone protects the latch mechanism. The door comes with stainless steel locking options including a rotary paddle latch, T-handle latch, or a die-cast T-handle compression latch on the aluminum door. The design incorporates "Aircraft Cable" door retainers, and the doors are replaceable for convenience.
