The box includes a reinforced, recessed 12 gauge drop door equipped with a locking, die cast compression latch to prevent theft. Built for long life, it utilizes aircraft grade cable lanyards, stainless steel continuous hinges, and a watertight replaceable gasket sealing system. This underbed truck box can be mounted on either a flat surface or under the bed and is made in the USA.
