The Buyers steel underbody truck box model 1702505 features a black, powder-coated 18x18x36-inch 14-gauge steel construction for corrosion resistance. It includes a diamond tread aluminum door with recessed and beveled edges to protect against moisture and road dirt, along with a 1/2-inch thick gasket system. The box is equipped with a stainless steel continuous hidden hinge and a reinforced door backbone to protect the latch mechanism. The locking hardware options include a stainless steel locking rotary paddle latch, a T-handle latch, or a die-cast T-handle compression latch on the aluminum door. Door retainers use aircraft cable, and the doors are replaceable for convenient maintenance.
