VHT 550° F (288° C) Engine Enamels® are specifically designed for automotive applications and are available in a diverse range of colors, including exact match factory colors. This product is formulated to provide excellent durability and superior heat and chemical resistance, able to withstand corrosion, rust, salt spray, and the challenging additives present in modern gasoline blends and degreasers. The unique composition of urethane and ceramic resins results in a tough, long-lasting finish suitable for engines and engine accessories, or any application requiring a durable heat or chemical resistant coating. Key features include an EZ Touch™ conical nozzle for ease of application, maximum heat dissipation and durability, ceramic resins that resist heat up to 550° F, and a drying time of 30 minutes to the touch, becoming handle-ready in 1 hour. This enamel is resistant to oil and other automotive fluids and will not blister, flake, crack, or peel, making it ideal for use on engine blocks and under hood accessories.
