The Storm Sentinel™ drain protection inserts assist companies in adhering to stormwater pollution prevention plans and best management practices by safeguarding storm drains and catch basins. These inserts are designed to fit round catch basins with diameters ranging from 27" to 29" and provide an impressive overflow rate of up to 500 GPM to prevent ponding issues. Installation is straightforward, requiring no special tools; simply remove the grate, adjust the wire frame to fit in the recess, place the insert into the recess, frame it into the corners, and replace the metal grate. For removal, lift the grate, grab the handle, and pull out the insert, with the entire insert remaining flush with the surface. The product aids in compliance with NPDES, 40 CFR 122.26 when implemented as a best management practice.
