The Ultratech 9163 Ultra-Inlet Guard Plus® is a curb-style, oil and sediment guard designed to protect drains and inlets without the need to lift grates. Measuring 24'' x 24'', it is constructed from heavy-duty non-woven geotextile material that effectively removes oil and sediment from rainfall, while also keeping dirt, sand, sediment, trash, and debris out of drains. The product allows for quick and easy installation through built-in magnets, eliminating the need to lift heavy catch basin grates. It can handle up to 92 gal/ft²/min. through drains and aids in the removal of oil and other hydrocarbons from stormwater flow. Its low-profile design allows it to be driven over, making it unobtrusive to both traffic and personnel. The Ultratech 9163 includes built-in overflow ports to help prevent flooding and ponding during heavy rainfall and supports compliance with NPDES, 40 CFR 122.26 (1999), TMDL, BMP, and SWPPP requirements.
