The Detectable Underground Warning Tape is designed with "Caution: Fiber Optic Line Below" messaging and is color coded in accordance with American Public Works Association standards. This tape is constructed from a 5 mil, triple layer lamination featuring an aluminum foil core, which is encased in 100% virgin polyethylene. It is detectable by metal detectors, helping to prevent unnecessary digging. The subsurface graphics are permanently protected from soil acids and alkalis, ensuring durability and clarity. Additionally, the tape can withstand temperatures ranging from -94°F to 200°F, providing excellent longevity for various underground applications.
