The Hirsh Industries® lateral file/bookcase combo unit features a three-part telescoping design with precision steel ball bearing slide suspension for smooth operation. It includes a core removable lock and double-lock bars for enhanced security, while a mechanical interlock prevents the extension of more than one drawer simultaneously. The unit comprises one fixed shelf, one adjustable shelf, and two file drawers, both shelves accommodating binder storage. It has knockouts in the back panel for cable management, with two grommets included. The design showcases wide style monochromatic drawer pulls and is equipped with four adjustable leveling guides. Magnetic label holders are provided, with one per drawer, and the unit features two adjustable hang rails per drawer for side-to-side filing, accepting letter, legal, or A4 hanging file folders. The unit is finished with a baked enamel coating and meets or exceeds ANSI/BIFMA standards. It also comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
