The Dewalt Eng. by Powers Fasteners PFM1411800 Screw-Bolt™ is a heavy-duty screw anchor made of carbon steel, measuring 3/4" x 6". This one-piece anchor features a finished hex head and is designed for easy installation and identification, as well as full removability. Its patented thread design allows for use with standard ANSI drill bits, reducing installation torque and enhancing productivity. The steel threads along the anchor body tap into the hole during installation, providing keyed engagement while allowing for reduced edge and spacing distances. The Screw-Bolt+ finish is available in both bright zinc-plated and mechanically galvanized options. This anchor is suitable for various base materials, including normal-weight concrete, sand-lightweight concrete, concrete over steel deck, concrete masonry, and solid clay brick. Key features include tough threads for tapping into high-strength concrete, ratchet teeth on the underside of the hex washer head that lock against the fixture, and the ability to be installed closer to edges than traditional expansion anchors. Each anchor is fully removable and can be reinstalled in the same hole, facilitating fast installation with a powered impact wrench. Additionally, the diameter, length, and identifying marking are stamped on the head of each anchor, which has a one-piece, finished head design.
