The Spike® pre-expanded anchor is a rod hanging anchor with a head size of 1/4" and a drill diameter of 3/16". It is a patented, one-piece, tamper-proof, vibration-resistant anchor designed for use in concrete, block, brick, or stone. The anchor features an "S" shaped configuration at the working end to create an expansion mechanism. Being pre-expanded, it requires no secondary tightening operation, which reduces the overall cost of installation. Several head styles and anchor materials are available. The product includes the Spike® anchor as specified, with dimensions and specifications suited for secure fastening in masonry and concrete materials.
