The Spike® pre-expanded anchor is made of 8.2 carbon steel with a mushroom head measuring 3/16" x 2-1/2". It is a patented, one-piece, tamper-proof, vibration-resistant anchor designed for use in concrete, block, brick, or stone. The anchor features an "S" shaped configuration at the working end that creates an expansion mechanism, pre-expanding the anchor to eliminate the need for secondary tightening operations, thereby reducing installation costs. Multiple head styles and anchor materials are available to suit various applications.
