The Spike® pre-expanded anchor is made of 8.2 carbon steel with a mushroom head and measures 3/16" x 1". This patented, one-piece, tamper-proof, vibration-resistant anchor is designed for use in concrete, block, brick, or stone. The anchor features an "S" shaped configuration at the working end that creates an expansion mechanism. Because the anchor is pre-expanded, no secondary tightening operation is required, which significantly reduces the overall cost of installation. Several head styles and anchor materials are available to suit different applications.
